When I first unpacked Razer Pro Click V2 Vertical, my first thought was – this mouse is not like what I usually see on the table. It is bulky, standing high as a mini -Gora, and, frankly, it looks a little inappropriate … until I used it.

Despite its unconventional form, it is very good in hand. It is clear that the Razer pursued aesthetics and comfort, and they nailed both.

While this brand is usually a synonym for gaming equipment, I did not plunge into the playing area. My routine included emails, editing and endless scrolling – and Click V2 processed all this without violating sweat. On the other hand, our review editor, Robin John, checked his gaming chops, and, believe me, his experience was a completely different trips. We will get to this in the last part of the review.

So, is this a vertical beast just a niche novelty or is sincerely useful? After several weeks of use, we need to say it side by side. Here is our combined look at the Razer Pro Click V2 Vertical.

Design and assembly quality

At first glance, this mouse is not like what I used before.

He is bulky, he is on the heavier side and definitely stands out on the table. But as soon as I started using it, I was sincerely surprised at how convenient it was. Instead of relaxing a hand, it allows your palm to equip a pose, similar to a handshake, which initially seemed strange, but quickly grew up on me. It also slightly evades to 71.7 degrees to maintain ergonomics, without causing the wrist stress.

The groove for the thumb has a beautiful shape and offers solid support. It is also surrounded by two buttons that can be configured in the software. The central part of the mouse has a branding Razer, followed by a small LED light and a DPI switch button. The right side also has an extended part of the mouse, which allows your little finger to sit comfortably, without tightening it on the table. This is a pleasant touch that displays the ergonomic design Pro Click V2 Vertical to another level.

All buttons are on the right side, which made me smash between the left and right more than usual. But after some time, this movement became part of my work process. The sound of the click is sharp and excellent, and even when there was a background noise, I still heard that a satisfying click every time I pressed the button.

Building, this mouse feels firm. Nothing rattled and felt cheap. I used it completely without a mouse overlay, on simple hard surfaces, and the skates below helped him easily glide. This is what I sincerely like in this: smooth performance without the need for additional accessories, such as mice.

In addition, in order to attract more gamers, Razer turned on the lighting of the RGB on a circular basis, and I must say that it was brilliantly completed. The light spills to the table, and does not push your eyes, and adds a little more pussy to your installation. RGB lighting can be controlled using Razer Synapse.

Pro Click V2 Vertical has a beautiful finish with two tones. The right side, where there are buttons, comes with a smooth matte coating, which almost looks like an amusing one – it is smooth, but it quite easily raises fingerprints. On the left you get a textured surface that adds such a necessary fight, which makes it safer in hand. In general, the mouse has six programmable buttons, but, given its size, Razer could turn on a couple more, especially in the thumb. If you are one who does not display a lot of macros on your mouse, it may not have much meaning for you.

Comfort

I am not going to lie, the first few sessions with the mouse were not just ill -winged, but also awkward from time to time. I continued to think if I was mistaken in a mistake. But after more than a month of use, I stopped noticing the form in general. In fact, the transition to an ordinary mouse began to feel uncomfortable and unfamiliar. But one thing that I noticed was a sharp difference in placing your hand compared to the traditional mouse. Pro Click V2 Vertical Edition requires you to hold your hand directly, without exerting too much pressure on the wrist. This requires several attempts before actually getting used to it.

If I had to point out one drawback, it would be portable. Nevertheless, this will not necessarily relate to everyone, since most of the target audience for the vertical publication Pro Click V2 will probably be gamers with a fully equipped PC. But since I use it with my laptop, wearing it was not the simplest of the tasks. When I throw him into my handbag along with a laptop and a daily gear, he awkwardly slows down and makes the bag bulge. This makes me worry, as a tough lump on the mouse can ultimately destroy it.

Performance testing

This is a sensor, usually designed for game mice due to its smooth tracking and the ability to track superbye movements when playing FPS games. DPI stretching also extends to 30,000 using this sensor, but this function will probably not be used by most people, since the vertical vertical Pro Click V2 is not as easy as a traditional mouse.

I used this mouse as part of my daily workflow, and it went through everything with me – raising ideas for stories on the Internet, writing articles, digging interesting videos on YouTube, endlessly scrolling on our web and without lagging behind the news on X., and all of them were put on a card about 1600 dpi throughout my use. I tried a fair share of mice at work, but this one definitely felt in the other way. The fact that he works so well without a mouse site really won me, since I rarely use one.

The scroll wheel is also decorated with the texture of the handle, which is a pleasant touch. Moreover, the wheel has very subtle feedback when scrolling, and this gives you more control over your aggressive scrolls when reading a long article.

Razer also bombarded the vertical Pro Click V2 with many AI functions, to which you can access the Razer Synapse application. The DPI button in the upper part doubles to open Master AI. It opens a small pop -up window that gives you a quick gateway in Chatgpt or Microsoft Copilot. You can paraphrase, summarize the text, create an image or even make an email. This is very useful if you provide assistance in these AI engines.

This mouse is also great for editing the video for many hours, since the additional two thumb buttons can be applied to the card for editing software to add a cut or effect.

Games

While Razer Pro Click V2 Vertical Edition is not intended for gamers, it is certainly equipped with a suitable technology for it. Not surprising, given that people from Razer are behind this, and they are all about games.

I spent a couple of hours, checking the vertical Pro Click V2, not by chance working for several rounds of Counter-Strike 2 with friends. Let’s just say it was not the most smooth trip. The adjustment curve was steep, and it quickly became clear that I would need several solid days of muscle memory before I could comfortably play with it.

However, there were some interesting conclusions. On the Mirage map, I spent amazingly well, using AWP. Turning to the click by the right button, tangible more sharp, and the pictures of the film were a certain blow-can, due to the vertical position of the wrist, giving more levers through the palm. But at the moment when I switched to AK-47, everything fell apart. I tried my best to manage the return and build shots. Several rounds, I understood this, but it was definitely more complicated than usual.

On the other hand, when I switched to slower, controlled games of games that focus more on research than on quick reflexes, Pro Click V2 Vertical really managed well. It was comfortable, responsive and easier to use for long sessions.

Battery service life

Razer says that Pro Click V2 Vertical can last up to six months in one charge during everyday use. This may be true for easier tasks, but in my case I had to connect it every three days. I use the mouse for almost nine hours in a row every day, and my workload varies from writing and research to editing video and quick design.

The good news is that it is charged through USB-C, so I did not need to hunt for a special cable. I just used my charger for the phone, and it turned on from zero to full in 35 minutes. The mouse also works in wired mode, so you can simply connect and play if the battery fades away.

Verdict

Razer Pro Click V2 Vertical is not your average mouse, and this is exactly the point. This requires some addiction, especially if you move from a traditional flat mouse. But as soon as you overcome the learning curve, it offers the level of comfort, which is difficult to let go.

Ergonomic design feels incredibly well -thought -out, with details such as a contested groove with a thumb and a dedicated space for your little finger, adding real comfort for long hours of use. From the point of view of performance, it is smooth, accurate, and even falls into some kind of player class technology under the hood, although it is clearly not created for a competitive game.

At a price of 13,071 pounds, sterling seem a little cool. A more aggressive price tag would make it more affordable, but if you are in the market for a vertical mouse, this is still one of the most developed options. Perhaps you should follow the upcoming sales in order to get a better deal.

While a couple of programmable buttons would be good, and they are not intended for left-handed, vertical, literally and figuratively sense of the Pro Click V2-as a solid choice for professionals and creators who value long-term comfort and intellectual functions.
